i take it, it doesn't review specs? just messing pal

BSA CONTENDER 6 - 24 x50

or

NIKKO GAMEKING 4-16x44 AO

What would you lads go with??

Both roughly the same price, give or take a quid or two.

Neither... If they've still got them, the Walther 4-12x50, 30mm, IR. It cost me £70 a couple of years ago and it's the best scope I've seen for airguns for the price.

Edit to say.. Out of the two you've mentioned, I'd go for the Nikko. I've had a few Nikko's before and they've always been good. I've never had anything to do with BSA scopes TBH but as a company, they've got a bit of a rep for cost cutting and tradeing on their name...

slightly off subject, but does anyone know if that 54 quid barrel mount chronograph from JSRamsbottom's is any good, or is it kinder surprise quality?

I don't know about that one but I would hope it's better than a similar looking one I got from ebay that snapped after the third time the barrel was closed on my 90  I'd forgotten about that....

hi hunter

ive brought loads of shooting items from ebay, gun slips, scopes, lamps, chargers, batterys, clothing, boots most from china,

the scopes were spot on not a problem with them

the gun slips were brilliant

bipods were very strudy and well made

lamp, batterys and charger all well and worked great

and all the other items were brilliant also

so go with your heart not the price

Think im going to get my scope from ramsbottoms, to much of a risk for what its costing, to buy it from abroad, just to lose my cash or for it to be a cheap replica, i was thinking more of the bi pod, £17 posted and its identical to the deben one, which is going for around £40/50 over here, £17 isnt going to break the bank, but the scope im getting is £105 and i dare'nt take a chance, but for £17 i just might take a gamble

your covered with paypal so if it doesnt arrive you get your money back, although ive not add any problems buying off china always arrived pretty quick

If it's the Combro, then they're pretty well respected. That sounds a little steep for one though. I paid £60 on FleaBay for a "Chrony Beta" which does everything, from bows to paintball guns, through air guns and I have just used it to chrono my new .243! Brilliant bit of kit and at £60 cheap as chips! Might take a while for one to come up on eBay, but worth waiting for! Far better than the Combro, which is pretty limited!

Sory to go further off topic, but all shops selling the chrombo are stating that it is out of stock and the ones on ebay are fetching more than the shops sell them for because of this.

Guess what im asking is does anyone kno where they are in stock??
