How long did it take you to get your FAC?

I'm still waiting on mine and it's been 4 months now! My FLO just seems to have no sense of urgency whatsoever.

I kept calling mine every week. The problem was waiting for the medical report so I repeatedly called the GP's secretary then let the FEO know I'd done it so he didn't have to. If they know your going to call then there is more reason for them to do something.

 

Sometimes it seems like I chase things for a living, you just have to keep on going on and on and on until you grind them down.

 

If your not getting anywhere you have nothing to loose by becoming a pain, and if there is a problem you should get a straight answer if you ask: whats holding this up?

I'm always on to them. My FLO just seems really slow and she doesn't seem to know what's she is doing to be honest. I had to ring just to get a dam interview as it was taking so long. It's getting close to 5 months now and I can't understand why it takes so dam long.

mine took 2 months, being a pest controller, I rung them and stated a customer was getting irate on his "pests" and should I sub contract the work out to someone else with an open ticket, had it within a few days after that

10 days in Cumbria, shotgun was bout 7 I think! That said we're on day 9 for my variation!

To be fair FEO visit was delayed two weeks because I was on holiday, ticket was then delayed a further two weeks waiting for Doctors report.

 

Did't hassle them, think I rang them twice.

Not for vermin, but for deer, yes. A night shooting license is required & a minimum cal of .270 is also required.

Took me just over 4 weeks to get my licence from the the day I handed my application form in, 15 days after the interview it was waiting to be picked up from the station. That was with Cleveland police, I couldn't fault them at all with the way they dealt with it.
