P.o.i change

Is thare anyone who has 5mins to explane to me the relationship between p.o.i and a slow reduction in pressure due to shot count,

Is this negligable whilst in sweet shots?

Obviously if you drop 5mm at 30yds this could be greater at 50yds assumeing trajectory has been accounted for correctly.

Sory thats as clear as pig poo, but its the best I can do.

Any explination/education welcome.

Hey Steve,

When in the sweet spot, there will be little (negligable) change in POI but there will always be some, this is exaserbated by the shooter hence we rarely get one hole groups measuring 5.52 mm edge to edge.

Above and below the sweet spot there will be some, often large degree's of POI

You can learn to compensate for shooting below the sweet spot (as I found out to my cost last July) Yes that old chestnut again! :whistling:

Cheers tony, I thaught that may be the case, that old chestnut, I will fill yours up for you next year ;) (and let you guess where to) lol.

Thanks for the info, I will do the range work at some point and figure it out, but I dont shoot out of my sweet spot anyway so I should be o.k

hi Steve

there is no need to try and do the poi change when your low on air,as i feel this is pointless

you never go out hunting/target shooting with 80bar in your rifle

and there is so much change that it is hardly worth it.i also found this out last year at AAOC,and after put some research in as you do ,but too frustrating :wallbash:

its just a waste of time, but if your up for doing a post on it.then be my guest, may be it was me.

not enough patience.

PS. use 15mm & 40mm targets

regards

Hey davy, I have little patience either, also if the p.o.i change is so slight my shooting will be an anomaly rendering the test difficult/unsucessful.

Dont hold your breath for thread lol.

Thanks for your imput davy.

I was more thinking about p.o.i change in the range of bar I use 180ish to 120ish, but as phantom has mentioned this is negligable.

It would be intresting to see the drop of from 80 bar to zero, but im not the man for the job, unless I can get my hands on a vice lol
