shane7681 8
Hi all just finished work and took my four month old pup for a walk down my local ecology park. On my way back to the car i seen something move about thirty yards away and the dog shot off. The next thing i knew the pup comes trotting up the track with something in her mouth. I couldnt believe what she got, It was a woodcock she had it by the wing it was still alive so i took it off her and let it go, the bird couldnt fly so well so i let the dog go she caught it again and retrieved it still alive This time i necked it as it wouldent have survived i am going to eat it as i havent tried woodcock befor. Anyway i am over the moon with the pup and cant wait till shes older. shane Quote Link to post

talljim 0
They reckon they taste better if you roast them with the guts still in. Tons of the buggers round here with all this cold weather, I say give it a go. Jim Quote Link to post
