hi all. in September i was out hunting with my colli whip grey and when on a course he pulled a muscle underneath his right bk leg. he was a bit saw the next day but after that seem ok i still dident run him knowing he had an injured. a week or so later i took him on the field with me pup and he had a lil sprint and same thing agen. ever since that day he pulled it it still hasn't healed up. its been nearly 3 months now and still the same 2 day. was told 2 rub a muscle rub on it but thought it would heal up on its own given it enough time. any 1 know any good muscle vets or summit in the same line or eny 1 had the same problem ? [bANNED TEXT] did you do and how long did it take 2 heal. i am not gonna run him at all this season hoping he will be sound for September cumin up. any help would be sound. thanks dan

its probably a teared muscle, put your thumb on the injury and feel for a hole, rest 6/8 weeks,

could be a groin never the same

its only hurts him when leg is stretched fully out. i need sum one 2 pin point it out and try and work on fixing it. worst thing ever having a dog injured and dunno how 2 fix it. hope hes just riped his muscle and not his hurt his groin

Agree with above at least 8 weeks but had a greyhound with same type of injury and it never was 100% after doing it, would run fine one week then next week run 60yds and pull up yelping. Only rest will fix it.

knee/ thats a stifle injury,

hold the hip and push leg towards the dog faceing forward, and watch the knee, stifle, like a human stretches legs,

if its a stifle injury the leg goes forward more,

if it hurts she will bite lol put a muzzle on

if its a gracillus thats just behind the knee, normally a lump,
