I roused the kids at half 6 this morning, layered them up like the Michelin man in warm clothes, set and packed the camera, and we all trooped out to see the eclipse - which must've happened behind the damn clouds 'cause we never saw a thing Dog had fun tho Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I took these ones of a 'red moon' lunar eclipse that happened a few years back. they're not brilliant, given the low res camera I took them off. These two are the best, even though they are taken without any zoom on: These two are just as the earth's shadow is starting to encroach on the moon: What was the story behind the '400 year' period of last nights eclipse?
