never heard of someone jacking in due to a bit of snow,as said im f****d off with it but as far as giving it all up never going to happen its just typical of the problems that come with running dogs and we dont get this weather often enough to worry about it either

I meant if we keep getting winters like this year and last year. allready heard some lads saying they might jack it in if its like this next year. I wouldnt personally but I know others who are utterly pissed off with the weather these last 2 seasons as soon as they get a dog to near peak fitness the ice and snow come and then thats it til about february by which time the seasons basically over

Can't even fly the birds here, snow above your knees, 20 yards and your fecked, minus 16 at 10 this morning, warmed right up this afternoon to minus 14! Spent an hour yesterday and 3 hours today digging the car out, and you lot think you've got it bad :D Birds will need retraining at this rate.

apart from not being able to get the pegs into the ground i did a bit of ferreting on sunday on two inches of snow and rock hard soil but it didnt hurt the dog as she only had a couple of proper runs on pasture land. however i wouldnt run her on the lamp in this weather but then again her and her kennel mates are flying around the fields playing and hunting up without any injury it pays to be careful a coupe of dead rabbits doesnt compensate for a smashed up dog
