metallica fish 0
I like to use the little snap traps for the small rats that are causing havoc in my shed. They have chewed through everything. And and killed and eaten 5 out of 6 of my quails. I wana still use the snap traps but the little gets keep getting the bait off and triggering the traps. Ive tried allsorts of bait. Doing my head in! Quote Link to post

ratattack 111
Errr you mean mouse traps then??? Buy a few proper rat traps and catch the buggers Choc or peanut butter for bait. Quote Link to post
lamaha 7
Definately soft baits like the peanut butter or chocolate spread option are best as the crafty b*%gers can flick solid baits off or deliberatly set the trap off to get the bait. Changing the types of traps, plastic and wood etc, is good also as they get trap shy if they witness a family member getting caught or having a close shave. Quote Link to post
