chartpolski 24,247
There is some right crap written about F1 Deer/Greys ! Not fast enought ? This pups dams half brother won the Greyhound Derby, TWICE ! She is the fastest lurcher I've had ! She's 29" and turns almost as fast as my 23" bitch ! She's had pleanty of rabbits, and jumps, hunts and lamps ! She is doing EVERYTHING I expect of her at 17 month. She won't be used for ferreting LOL !!but that isn't what she was brought in for !!!! Cheers. Quote Link to post

I've had Deerhound blooded dogs before; had a beautiful 1/4 Deer 3/4 Grey, but it succumbed to parvo many years ago, before we fully understood the "cat 'flu" !! My little bitch Delta, is 1/8th Deer, not much, I know, but you can see it in her ! I have seen a good few Deer X's work, and they always impressed. I have high hopes for Lima; she hasn't been rushed, and is starting to do what I wanted, and expected, of her. Only time will tell ! Cheers. Quote Link to post
