mexlad 189
i use any kind of greyhound/lurcher collar and just use string or an old dog lead with the end cut off as a slip cant beat it in my eyes, atb mexlad. Quote Link to post
MATTI 34
I'm not a big fan of a running dog wearing a collar while working, once had a dog take a dew claw off on his collar while turning old long ears, if you are gonna use 1 i would go for light as possible mate. ruby jet 184
strong stuff mate best there is Quote Link to post
Water Badger 26
Strong stuff are nice bit weighty for pup but after 6months one of his and a bit of string or thin climbing assessory corde £1 per meter get lots of bits as you will lose lots leave a bit in every trouser pocket then you are prepared Quote Link to post
Guest crobinc840
I do like the look of strong stuffs because he uses nylon instead of leather. My dogs destroy the leather just playing together and when it gets wet and muddy I have to clean and maintain them which happens a lot. Quote Link to post

artic 595
Always had leather collars, they have never worn down and become thin to the point of throwing away. Infact when I say ALWAYS, they are the same ones passed down to my current dogs. Quote Link to post
rapidjenky 97
so which is best to go for the 1.5" or the 2"? for a lurcher. he`s not a bull x and not massively built. 24" tts and has a very skinny neck. i always thought the wider the better for lurchers, grays or whippets but on the website the lurcher is wearing the thinner collar. also is there any benefit to a weighted collars while general walking/training?
