changed batteries in my barryvox yesterday switched it back on and 457 search failure came up knocked it back off them back on and it was fine. anyone know what this is? never had any problems with the box before.

My devices displays “457 SEND failure“. What is the cause?

 

This message appears if a deviation in the sending performance is detected during the power-on self-test (when you turn the device on). This normally happens when other electronic devices or metal objects (e.g. ice axe, magnetic jacket buttons) impede the sending performance. It is a built-in safety feature of the device. In this case, the red SEND LED no longer blinks, indicating to the user that something is wrong. The device is still sending signals, which can also be impeded by external interference.

If this message appears in the absence of any external interference, the device is defect and must be diagnosed by a Service Cente

how you like that barryvox pulse system ? i gone to up grade my older but still work'n great deben system . anyone useing the new ortovox s1 system ? were you buy your barryvox pluse from ? any info will help..............stay game in the LORD................richlee

thanks alot for that mate really appreciated. richlee i use the barryvox pulse box with the bellman collar and cant fault it, if you used this setup you would throw the deben in the bin...cheers.

sounds a good idea mate LOL. sorry for not getting back to you about the couple's i havent forgot iv been busy and now have 3 terriers again so dont really need them, but will have them for when i just take the 2 out. let you know sizes when i get time probably 2012 lol.
