heritage 202
A ferret kit will be classed as an adult at 16 weeks...although no longer a kit i still think its to early to start working them hard as they havent had time to build themselves up properly or mature.I always work my ferrets for the first time the season after they were born. This may not work if you have a single or small number of ferrets but i have a few and so find myself in no great rush to enter them....if you have to start them sooner rather than later id suggest finding them a few simple burys to start with....atb Quote Link to post
