Reloading .303

Hi all.

 

Have always wanted and have a slot for an Enfield .303.

 

I can't remember the term but I know you need a hydraulic rig for de-capping, could you tell me what it's called please?

really? I thought you just had a decapping and resizing die all in one.....

but then I'm not a reloader....

Assuming you mean decapping cases to reload then a standard reloading press and a set of dies is all that is required no need for hydraulics http://www.midwayuk.com/ or http://www.reloadingsolutions.com/ will sort you

You don't need any 'fancy' reloading gear if you reload virgin NON Military brass.

Just buy a 100 bag of new brass and carry on as usual.

Military brass often have the primers 'reinforced' in the pockets by 'splining' the brass,

this apparently is to give them extra grip so that they can be used in machine guns where

it can get a bit 'stressful' due to the application. ('Berdan primed' is the word I think)

New brass does not have this.

I though Berdan primed brass had the primer fixed in place as you say, but there are two flash holes instead of the usual one found on boxer primed brass?
