What do You use

Recommended Posts

Things are going great with My first lurcher He is growing into a lovely dog. Looking forward to getting out and about with Him next year, have couple of permissions under My belt. I plan to do mainly mooching and some ferreting. While My lad is still young I am toying with the idea of getting a team mate. Looking for something to work the cover and flush it for lurcher. What do people use or suggest, and what does it add to Your team.

I have been doing a bit of a search through some old threads about decent bushing dogs. I wouldn't mind getting one in a couple of years.

Cocker spaniels seem fairly popular. I would want something that wont go to ground. Jack or Patt x Cockers seem popular too.

What are Beddys like? Would they be likely to go to ground?

I asked this over on the Terrier side of forum, Jack x Cocker came up, I am with Gareth I also dont really want any thing to go to ground, just work cover.

So anyone got any pics of anything they use, even nicer to see one of the mentioned cross`s
