AnthroHunter 0
I was just wondering how much it approx. would cost to start shooting, I know that it depends what type of hunting you do etc, but say for rabbits? Quote Link to post

THE GRIFF 8
It depends on what you want to shoot with-air rifle, shotgun, firearm ect. The cheapest way to start off would be an air rifle, but you must shoot the rabbits in the head to kill them. Try and get out with someone to see if you enjoy it first and get youself a cheap springer air rifle with a cheap set of scopes to get a bit of practice in on a target board. You will pick a decent air rifle up for under £100 to get you started, less if you shop around. Dont be tempted to just go shooting rabbits straight away, get some practice in first and that way you will be able to hit the rabbits in the head and kill them humanly. Once you have an air rifle, the rest will just follow and before you know it you will have a shotgun and be applying for you Fire Arms Licence. Quote Link to post
