i was just wondering if anyone has or has worked a airdale x i really like the look of the dogs and woudent mind some peoples thoughts about the cross any pics would be nice :thumbs-up:

Couple of airdales near me with seperate owners ,both of them are agressive with other dogs, maybe its just coincidence ,maybe not.Hansome fellas ,probably be good on Charlie ,but Id imagine they would be a bit cloddy and slow for all round work, but Ive no experience of them.

judging by the one above, an airdale cross would be no more cloddier than a bull x??? :hmm:

if they are all like the above pic then i would say the airdale is better lookin... jmo :)

the only downside is that (i am only guessing) it would be hard to find a good airdale for a base dog??

a mate of mine had a real good bitch kc reg and the lot took till she was 3 tot urn on but when she did she was 100% markin fox huntin rabbit and could dispatch a fox her self on her own either at hole end or on top but she not catch them so they put a grayhound dog to her that was also a good dog a bit hard for his own good but still good to bred from he is good on everything apart from hare... Mars how is the bitch [bANNED TEXT] ill see you soon hopefully [bANNED TEXT] for another diggy day out lol hopefully in better weather [bANNED TEXT] all the best

Iv got permision to use an airdale dog as stud, i was thinking of putting it over one of my salukigrey/whippet bitches next spring. Its a kc dog and is not a worker as such but iv had it out in the day and its straight into every bit of cover searching for game and it has as much heart as any other terrier when its chaseing something. Iv seen this dog flush fallow does from woodland and take off for half an hour trying to catch them. Its as game a sfuck but far to slow. I wouldnt mind crossing this dog to a greyhound bitch.
