I was out yesterday in about eight inches of the stuff the lurcher couldn't stand she kept breaking threw the crust,I thought the spanniel was okay walking on it when i got home she's grazed her feet .And we had another flurry last night

Just had a fresh shower of snow here. Been snowing on and off the last 24hrs and its thick.

Its fine when it first snows, dogs don't get cut up feet, but when it freezes, that's when the trouble begings.. !

Ill be lamping/mooching till late spring, that's for sure.!

its not doing me any good at all trying to enter my pup just get her going then everywheres frozen solid again just hope it dosent do her to much harm in the long run :thumbs:

same here mate before this bad weather came my pup coming on good,out 2 nites ago it was starting him all over again ,even know he still caught ,the fieldcraft went out the window ,think i,m going 2 risk certain nites just because of my pup need 2 be grafting before the summer or it might be bringing it on trough the summer which is somthing i never normally do
