Aaron Proffitt 142
Isn't that what you do to the enemy? Shoot them. Is it normal to shoot children as well then?or is it ok cause they where in a van rescuing a wounded man? Is it normal to load up the kids so you can drive into the impact area to pick up wounded ? I don't know about you,but I'd probably leave the family at home. That is an urban area do you not think that they live there? To be honest I don't think we should be there the Americans feel that we have f****d it up so I reckon we should come home and let them fools try and win an un-winnable war that serves no purpose I agree...go on home. Our people are leaving as well and Iraq has said they are capable of handling it. I think they are ,too. But what's an urban environment have to do with it ? If my neighbor across the street is being burglarized, I'm not bringing my 12 year old daughter along to see the action. If a bear's raiding my trash can,I'm not sending her out with a broomstick to shoo off the bear. I agree in principal but this is a war zone they live in so where do you leave the kids or do you keep them with you? and if you where helping a wounded routers reporter would you really expect to be fired on what weapons where they carrying or was that an injured man they where carrying? You leave them at home with your burkaed wife who, I can assure, you is not at work. They brought those kids along so they could see their 'Dad' in all his glory rendering aid to those fighting infidels. Most Dad's are content just for their kids to see them sink a great putt, win at pool or build a great tree house. And yeah, if a bunch of guys got shot in front of my house by a gunship...common sense should dictate that's not a safe place to be.
danw 1,748
Common sense would suggest that we should never have been there in the first place then they wouldn't need to worry about getting shot for no reason. I think we should agree to disagree Aaron I don't think we see the issue from the same angle the only and last thing I would say on this thread and I hope we agree on this is that our thoughts should be with our fallen and utmost respect to our troops for fighting what can only be described as a shitty war. Aaron Proffitt 142
Define normal in war. Is it normal to strap explosives to a child and teach him to blow himself up? Seems normal over there. Play with fire and eventually you will get burnt. give example of someone strapping explosive's to a child please? Here you go... http://childsoldierrelief.org/2008/12/08/child-soldiers-being-used-as-child-suicide-bombers-in-iraq/

olim 28
Did the people actually haverpg's and AK's as it was unclear on the video, if they didnt that is completely wrong but if they did it was a completely reasonable thing to do, what normal people have AK's and RPG's especially in urban areas, these weapons have no use but to cause harm to other people!
