right lads i just got myself a beagle russel she's only 8 months and still playing about but using her nose abit aswell. what age do these roughly mature and are ready for work? any tips also. thanks in advance

Try and get her out a few times with an older dog of similar breeding that will bring her on ten fold

cheers mate, i have a mate with one working which i'll do, but do you think she is still to young as she still seems puppyish?

got a three quarter beagle russell 9 month old and going well,a natural.just get it in the field as much as you can,won't take long for the penny to drop.
