lunita 57 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Share Posted January 20, 2011 In my experience of following a few different packs all over the country . . . the field is always mixed, and if you had to count i would say most would contain more women than men. That's true, but in my experience the women are more interested in riding their horses all over the landscape than they are with the actual hunt! When the conditions take a turn for the worse, they soon loose interest... Not saying that's true for every hunt, just what I've experienced. i agree..im a women who loves hunting..ir the workin of the hounds and for me even though i follow a mounted pack the truest hunting is the foot packs..alot of the women on hunts not all r into horses and riding and equestrian stuff although there r some that like the hunt but not fanatic about it Quote Link to post

I think there are quite a few on here from yorkshire. I hunt with a yorkshire pack but they do come to the developed side of the pennines (Lancashire)now and again so they arnt all bad!
