Is it me or did her ears go from button to standing, well half standing? One of the pups from my litter looks like it's doing that too.

if you breed merle to merle half the pups will be blind and deaf

 

 

Don't think that's quite right mate. Agreed there is a risk of producing blind/deaf pups when breeding merle to merle

but to say half of the litter will be born that way isn't right.

There are a lot of components to the genes that create colour and the lack of, very complicated it might not be 50/50. It could be worse or they could all turn out ok. It's still a bad idea and the breeders that do it only do it for a bitch that can produce all merles £££££ :thumbdown:Either that or they just don't know the dangers of it and they shouldn't be breeding anyway.
