whats best way to keep a dog quiet in a kennel

Recommended Posts

i hve the time but the neighbours around here are right grasses wid my terrier they was postirng notes thru my door saying shut the dog up before we calal rspca and all this so if it was solved quicker it wud lower the chances of the m clling rspca ?

well knowing the neighbours are like that why get a pup as in most cases will be noisey in the kennel to start.i think you should either bring it in doors or get rid of it or just ignore the letters why dont the 2 faced twats knock on the door and tell you face to face if they have a problem.

Hi mate

as daft as it sounds is the dog warm enough a cold dog will howl, who wouldn't.

The reason I ask is this, last season I had a different van one in which you could reach through to the back from the cab. On the way home after a day's ferreting there where in the back in cage NOT a whimper....perfect.....

this season I've got a different van with a closed in back(no access from front cab)and on my first few outings there whimpered and howled a little in back I could not work out why this was.

That was until I seen the ice on the inside roof of the van and realised there where freezing .My solution a 12v heater for the back of me van.

As for soaking it with water DONT even think about it's a waste of time and a wet dog in these temperatures is a big NO NO

Atb

Just walk the legs off it...

If its tired it will sleep... Big meaty bones are very good and big beef knuckle bones will keep it quite for hours..

and it will be good as a supplement for its daily food intake and teeth...

It should settle down if not go for a anti bark collar cheap on ebay...
