inan 841
If you could only run one species with your lurchers, which would you hold above the others and why? I enjoy all types of running but Id have to say singlehanded hare coursing is to me the pinnacle ,I beleive the hare is our supreme athlete, and to see him given fair law and coursed by a good dog on big land in January is as good as it gets,a spectacle I never tire of,its exiting, dramatic, poetic, and aesthetically ,and emotinally fullfilling. braveheart 1
A hare evertime....one dog one hare ,you never tire of seeing this excitment not knowing what or where the cunning hare is going to take your dog,and has been mentioned they take some stopping this time of year Quote Link to post
doxhope 2
Rabbits for me, day and night as it has always been, everything else are added extras, my dogs took anything so rabbits may not have been their first choice I get the same excitement walking on to a squatting bunny as I do see-ing a dog pull a deer down or crush a fox, I just love being out with running dogs Quote Link to post
