Hello, congrats on a very smart looking dog, i would love to know, is the dog pictured a white lakeland x russell? I am very confused as to the whole white lakeland thing, i understand some people have very strong views about what they are, and whether they even exist. Not having a pop at anyone or their dogs, just trying to clarify in my own mind.

Haha you must be one of those comedians i have heard so much about. I think we all understand the meaning of "white" and " lakeland".

I have heard it argued that white lakelands are russells, or have a percentage of russell breeding in them. Then on this site i see them listed as pure lakeland, as i said, just wanted to know the truth, if there is any, in regards to that. Do you keep white lakelands?

hi mate, cheers for the comment, his mum was a white lakeland bred from 2 black n tans from n.ireland from show/working lines, his dad was black n tan, from working stock. i have never tryed the dog pictured[ron]to ground, just use him for mouching, ratting, ferreting.

russel mate but there a few like him in the ring with him, its popular now seeing dogs like him in the russel classes, ive given up on all that shit now been in done it and got the t shirt, just working dogs now , f*****g ugly things, best ever
