davyt63 1,845
hi si nice shooting buddy i am not going to get dragged into a cal debate!! but will say this if a person cant hit the same target with both cals, then practise, practise, practise:thumbs: if they still cant do it then stick to the cal that suits the shooter!! end ov!! regards davy Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Thanks Davy, True what you said. Best to find what suits best then stick with that calibre. Practice is good with any calibre and if you can't hit a barn door with either calibre then join a club or a shooting syndicate and get advice and listen to people who can shoot and learn that way. That or get a play station 3 and stuck to Call of duty LOL . ATB Si Edited December 13, 2010 by zini Quote Link to post
markvining 18
Hi Si Good shooting have there being any 50m groups sent in yet, if no we could have a play next weekend. I also agree with Sweeney Todd Ive started using 14gr seem to give a bit more accurate on the long shots also I'm being playing with different zero ranges at the moment I'm using 23.5m it keeps it all on the cross hairs out to 27m then its just know your mil dots its still work in progress but seem to help me at hft job and ratting. mark Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Nice work Mark , Its always good to try and better your own hunting / shooting setup . Ive just fitted a nice laser on my r10 now that i found on Ebay and its a cracker of a laser too. Will be good for laser ratting. No i havent had any 45m (50 yard) groups come in yet buddy. I think people are witing for the better weather to come with less wind and rain. The best ive had as yet since the post was at yours with the Ultra and that was only 3 shots though and not the 5 as stated in the post. I managed a 3 shot pellet on pellet (must of been a fluke). See you soon buddy. Is Davy coming up at all over Christmas mate as i have his combats that he needs to pick up if he is coming Si Quote Link to post
