i wouldnt slip a dog if you paid me my dog workes lose

That's a nice looking dog you've got. I'm keeping mine on lead and she watches her mum work. I will only be ferreting so not into the lamp but plenty of grown dogs are being injured and they know what they are doing. I think it would be better to give it some easy experience and give it time to mature. You're going to have the pup a long time so there's no rush. Best of luck whater you decide.

that dog was started at 3 and a half months old does he look bad in any way

Does someone want to put up some photos of 12 week old pups, cos i might be wrong but when i think of a 12 week old pup i'm thinking of the age where they are still acting like babies and running into

just when you thought heard it all ,running a dog on the lamp at 3 months ,for fcuk sake get a grip ,i just car,nt amigine a 3 1/2 pup catching anything but a mouse

And how do you know if its going to be a short easy run? Do you make the rabbit promise it wont run to hard before you slip the pup?   Enter her right mate and you will have a dog you can be proud

All my dogs have been started young and it's funny to hear off other so called dog men saying it can't be done, there are many if us lads who start dogs very young laughing our heads off at this topic. My first lurcher had his first at around 15-16 weeks now he's 10 and only just retired him start of this season
