martnmagik 68
im gutted.the conditions are perfect for a night on the lamp where i am and all i have is a 3 month old pup. so i took her out for a walk and took the lamp with me so i could have a look around and get the pup used to the beam etc and f##k me theres rabbits every where. would i be in the wrong by letting her off the lead to have a snout about and see if she would run one? she pulls on the lead when she sees them. im so tempted BUT unsure if i should or not, what would you advise? Ideation 8,216
You could do some serious damage to young developing joints/muscles/bones. Don't waste the dog, have patience. Quote Link to post

gizmo88 1
What x is your older dog and what x is the young one, I bring em on young with certain breeds seems to bring the best out in them but a few breeds I would never do this with as they can't handle the test it gives to a young dog, alb fella Quote Link to post
Guest deerhound hunter
you run your dog as early as 3 month and your dog will be lucky if it has 2 good seasons and thats including its first Quote Link to post
