Hi Lads,

This last week has been one of mixed emotions for me. I had to sell off my trusty TX200HC to fund my Christmas Pressie to myself, a second hand R10 .177 with a NV site, purchased off the for sale section on here. To say Im chuffed is an understatement. One of the finest stocks ive shouldered. Its very pointable and cant wait to test it on some bunnys when this snow fecks off!

Having never used NV to hunt, I am looking forward to that to. You seem to get a lot of gun for the money with the R10.

Will let you know how i get on in the next couple of weeks,

Mikey.

Hi Mikey,

Welcome to the Fellowship buddy  .

She looks a very nice rifle buddy and I hope that she serves you well  .

What pellets you going to use in her :hmm: ?

Some good ones that seem to work well in the BSA barrels are FX, AA, RWS Super Fields and JSB’s  .

Best of luck with her buddy ;) .

Cheers Lads,

Hi Si, I have half a sleeve of AA Field 4.51 left so will try them out to start. Although I have got a tin of JSB 4.52 I meant to try in my TX so will try them also. Cant wait! I will probably get it Tenched when my funds recover. I know its already regged, but have read on the BSA Owners forum its deffinately worth having done. Also considering having the barrel shortened and fitting a silencer.

Hi Mark, to be honest the stock is one of the main reasons I had it. That and its regged, large shot count, it pretty much ticked all my boxes!!!

Cheers Again,

Mikey.
