zini 1,939
Hi Scott, No need for a review buddy it's a easy thread to answer. The rifle is mint. Loads of lads on here with them and there's not one bad thing ever said about them. I've been with lads hunting with them and they out shoot the shooter. Good shot count Accurate and deadly. mick01 36
Hello Scott, i will try mate i have a carbine version in 22. and owned one a while back in classic, also 22. to be honest mate there are lads on here who will post shortly with far better advice. i dont get out enough to know it inside out and as there the only pcp i have owned i have nothing to compare it to!! anyway mate i love mine, i have had very few problems if any, accuracy has been perfect apart from a little blip a few weeks ago, it seems light enough to me as i often walk miles and it causes no bother. only thing i could possibly whinge about is the pressure gauge is knackerd. says 110 bar when its full. but going off the bottle keeps me right. its easy to recharge, easy to reload, cocking is smooth quick and easy. what more could i ask for!? i would reccomend one, anyway scott more detailed answers will follow mine so good luck mate.. mick01 36
classic and carbine is just the barrel length pal, classic is longer and carbine the shorter version. both rifles for me are of equal class, the only difference is personal preferance i suppose and as 90% of my shooting is from the standing position the carbine just feels more balanced and i can hold it still for a fraction longer. like i say its down to the individual. couldnt comment on the r10 matey my mate has 1 and he swares by it. i know si who commented above has 1 and he'l probably let you know his thoughts. zini 1,939
How would you compare it to the r10? Hi mate, The rifles are just as good as each other if used correctly and will out shoot the owner. The r10 has had a rough start in life and is only just starting to get a better rep and following. The AA S410 has always been a true star of a rifle. I would personally buy a AA S410 has i think that they are great rifles and i only buy top quality rifles buddy. Alot of it is to do with feel and how comfy the rifles feels in your shoulder buddy. If your heart is set on a AA S410 and it fits you well then go for it pal, it will serve you well as would the new mark 2 r10. Si Quote Link to post
rossi_j 99
You will get more shots from a classic than a carbine, the carbine feels easyer in the shoulder, both great rifles. .atb. .ste. Quote Link to post
19powell90 89
I am gonna go for the s410 in walnut and have a feel of both classic and carbine and go from there. I have seen s410 regulators how much difference does this make?? Quote Link to post

19powell90 89
what a good silencer for the s410? Quote Link to post
markha 99
I have .22 carbine, fantastic bit of kit. Shot count wise I fill to the sweet spot of (for my gun) 160 and keep shooting down to 100 bar with only marginal POI change, I guess around 50 - 60 shots before the point of impact changes. It may not sound like a lot of shots, but one shot on target per bunny etc means plenty of shooting can be managed. Obviously if your bashing paper targets then you will probably need to fill up quiet often if your setting up a scope or trying long range shots ojn paper. Im happy as larry with mine, coupled with the Twink MK2 silencer its one of the quietest rifles about. I have had 1" groups on paper at 70-80yds and near pellet on pellet at 50yds. A deadly accurate gun whether free standing or on a bipod. The trigger is also a true 2 stage adjustable job and can be tweaked down to very light trigger pull thats got a crisp break on the 2nd stage. Recoil = what's recoil Aim, Breath out, squeeze, follow the shot through, job done. Quote Link to post

NICE! yeah 50-60 shots is plenty for me but will try both rifles out at the shop and see which one feels better. where can i get twink silencers from? Quote Link to post
