rabbit mad 10
i had to get rid of my lurcher because he would fight with my jack when i pend them up.i think it was because they were both dog. i got a 2/3whippet 1/3bedy bitch know and they get on fine. terriers don't like to be in confined spaces with dog. vld 62
We have two lurchers and a jack russel penned up together. Jack Russel is oldest and nailed the lurcher a few times when it was younger, then the lurcher just turned and nailed her back - the problem with the terriers is they never know when they've had enough so keep going back for more. The youngest lurcher never gets involved in the fights at all. The jack russel is 8 now and is happy to admit she's not top dog - we've not had any fights for over 3 years and they get on well, eg jack russel eats when the others have finished etc and generally knows her place. All mine are bitches too. Quote Link to post
