gnasher16 30,451
I like Newcastle there a big club with big tradition....so for that reason surely the genuine Newcastle fans should really be quite happy that the club is not willing to settle for merely staying in the premiership....Whats the betting if they had stuck with Hughton yous would be moaning the clubs not ambitious enough.....After all said and done Hughton is not a proven top manager, yes he,s done a great job but thats an indication of what makes Mike Ashley a fantastic buiseness man,he doesnt fear tough decisions...that club is debt free and in a healthy position he could sell it now and probably break even.....but he,s going for a profit.....if that involves getting a new manager then surely thats a good thing.....theres no loyalty in buiseness and Ashley is a very succesful billionaire buisenessman....trust his judgement you never know....the success he craves in his bank balance runs alongside the success you fans want on the pitch so your both pulling in the same direction. By the way....Martin Jol the former Spurs boss has just become available ....coincidence ?

deanflute 550
The sooner Newcastle accept the fact they are not a big club, and are never going to win f**k all the better. A disgrace him getting sacked i think Why would you say Newcastle aren't a big club?

Next sunderland v newcasle game the tables will turn. (hopefully) Billionaire buiseness men dont make decisions like that just to piss people off mate.....he stayed because he would have lost a lot of money,as it turns out his gamble paid off....he could sell the club now and break even but it looks like he,s about to take another gamble and go for a profit....you gotta admire that.
