stroller 341 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 Heard recently of some intrepid hunters taking hare in this deep snow, apart from being illegal surely its un ethical there would be an argument to say that the hares caught would not have survived the winter anyway but surely on this 12" thick powdery snow even a strong hare is limited severly!! i dont understand the way some people think and to me it seems the lurcher world is full of this mentality. 2 Quote Link to post

mexlad 189 Posted December 7, 2010 Report Share Posted December 7, 2010 for me its all about the chase, dont get me wrong a catch is what we all go out for but its not the end of the world for me i just like to see one against one and see which comes off best.i cant imagine getting satisfaction watching a dog and a half froze hare plodding about in the snow.but each to there own i suppose but not for me.atb mexlad.
