Talk about shut the gate after the horse has bolted !!....Maybe if the KC raised their breed standards and promoted health and fitness, instead of obesity and disgusting caricatures they wouldnt need to put a block on how many litters a bitch has.

At the end of the day a bitch is well capable of a good number of litters as long as she is brought into good physical condition between them, like anything else if a dog leads a healthy, fit and active life you stack the odds in the animals favour....yet the kc promote poor quality in every single way via their terrible breed standards....you only need to look at the Bull breeds to see what im saying is true.

The KC are the most corrupt organisation in the dog world, why anybody would breed animals to their standards under their rules and guidelines suggests to me that person puts their dogs wellbeing second !

Can't see it'll make any difference TBH.

All that will happen is unscrupulous breeders of 'type' or those doing it for £££ will simply breed off more dogs and cull their brood bitches earlier once they're reached their maximum number of registrable litters..

Guest filthy animal

If they really wanted to do something they'd limit the amount of times an owner can register pups etc. i know they'd use friends and family names but it would make things a little harder for them.
