Hunting Lad 50
Here is a few pictures of my young cocker pup I got off mr openshaw yesterday. Out of mallowdale gun x cidwr gold dust... He is a cracking little pup in and about everything... He is my first spaniel looking forward to training him once he is old enough. At the minute i am just planning on using him for beating and picking up but if I get my shotgun license then will be taking up rough shooting. Hope you like Regards Ben Quote Link to post

FightTheBan 1,147
Aye mate allready onto him... Going to be taking the dog back down his once its 6months old so he can get me going with a training regime Regards Ben If you want my advice I would get the ground work training in long before 6 months. You want a well trained worker, not a field trialling dog and IMO there is a big difference especially in terms of training. FTB Quote Link to post
Hunting Lad 50
Hi mate, thanks for the advice. I will do little bits of work on basic obidence but wait until 6 months to really start training.
