Hi fellow Hw100 owners, my gun has just being crono'd at 8.4 the gun still shoots consistently but way down on power. Si has already suggested A&M Customs or tench and i will give them both a ring tomorrow, also you never seem to hear about hw100 tunning please help fellow hw100 owners or mite have to join the oopar lumpars in the fellowship

Even though low 8.4 will still certainly do the biz at nominal ranges.

The 100 though is capable of sending accurate lead much further than the norm

Hiya Mark.

 

As much as it pains me to say this, I have had problems with both my 100s.

Power fluctuation, and loss of accuracy being top of the list.

 

Bloody frustrating, after spending hour upon hour, zeroing, pellet trials, etc, etc.

Then having to start all over again.

 

The quality of the rifle cant be knocked, but quality is worth jack chit without consistancy, and reliability.

 

I am considering getting rid of mine, never thought I would.

 

Maybe its time our man Tench made a regulator for the HW

 

He will certainly help you out mate.

I hope that someone from the 2 numbers that I gave you yesterday has helped solve your HW100 problem buddy .

 

I’m not sure what Tench does with HW’s but Addie will defo sort your rifle for you buddy .

 

Addie can turn his hand to most PCPs as far as I have seen .

 

I highly recommend both of them mate .

 

Well not long now pal, under 2 weeks to the Rattus norvegicus cull at your farm .

 

I was speaking to Tench a while ago and telling him about your farm and how good it is and he expressed a desire to join us in a rat shoot if that’s ok with you pal.

 

 

I said that id get back to him once I’ve spoken to you first as I know that your Owen is coming down to mate .

 

Anyway Mark if your HW100 keeps playing up for you, you will always be welcomed in the Fellowship of the r10 or BSA, then you will fulfil your true destiny .

cheers guys always good advice hopefully i can get it sorted this week Ive got the second hft comp of the winter league. I seen people on you tube adjust the power but Ive never had a gun in bits and going on my mechanical skills i will leave it alone Ive still got a CBR 600 in bits in the garage. I love the gun its action is a match to a Daystate i tryed at the local club. Will keep you all posted

Hi just got back from seeing Addie from A & M customs what a top bloke he not usually open for business on Tuesdays but i was over half way there today visiting another farm so i poped in he said getting the power up was no problem he would ditch the Anti Tamper and fit a FT adjuster so in the future i can remove the back plate and adjust it. I also so asked about tunning He replied" what do you want from the gun" which did have me stumped "What do i want from the gun" so i thought about getting the stock fitted to make it a bit more comfy when doing HFT. I also mentioned i was thinking about getting s400 or something for field target/ hunter target if i get in to it so"" he said come this way " well he had a back room/ cupboard full of guns he gave me a s400ft to feel very nice then a hw100 in 177 then the daystate mk4 Ive just got to start thinking how I'm going to get another new gun passed are lass, me thinks nuts and chopping block spring to mind cos i don't think she will believe me when i say its for my two little girls for Christmas any ideas let me know
