polishing hammer & rail

Recommended Posts

hi lads

i had to change my hammer on the AAS410,because the other one was shorter and was fitted with the BT reg.so had to put original back in and thought i would polish the hammer and rail while i was at it.

the reason for cleaning and polishing,is apparently!!

1. shot increase

2. Consistency

3. accuracy

well i believe it improves Consistency, accuracy im not too sure about, till i can give it a good test, but after doing this i did improve my PB HFT score by 10 points

so i have done a video on how to do it.please can you give some feedback,as i may have to re due the footage

here it is

Nice bit of video footage there Davy  .

SPA  .

Seems that you are starting to become a right little tink-era buddy and learning some really good stuff to due with tuning your own rifle and making it perform better etc :notworthy: .

I wish that I had a mechanical mind as id also like to have a play myself.

I’m afraid that I would probably do something wrong though and break my rifle as Im crap at mending stuff and usually make things worse :wallbash: .

Are you going to fit a Tench reg in your S410 as well buddy?

I bet you could probably fit it yourself with your knowledge pal  .

Well done anyway and keep up the interesting posts ;)

i would imagine that the aas200 is very similiar to take apart ,and polish the hammer & rail.

you would not beleive how easy these AA are to tinker/fix
