genuine 81
No work yesderday so started at my pal's house, he wanted some fresh rabbit for the harris hawk, rang a young lad that was ferreting he said he was guna ring when he got one, went to meet him and just as we got there rabbit hit the net! well when he picked the f****r up it bit his finger well infact it locked on and went straight through his finger, he had to get it mouth and puul it open, now this is no joke! Pissin with blood out his finger had to go to hospital for 8 stitches, there were even considering him loosing his finger. That didnt put him off he was out again today in 1ft half snow and bandaged finger! This happend to anyone befor or no of anyone, it was a first for me and probably the last! Quote Link to post

Maximus Ferret 2,063
I've been bitten once or twice alright. Once through the fingertip of my index finger and that hurt! Most rabbits won't bite at all and I often pull out live rabbits while the ferret's attacking them. It's so rare for a wild rabbit to bite that I never expect it when it happens. Quote Link to post
robo-christ 40
ive often wondered why you don't see or hear of rabbits biting to defend themselves,if it was a fox cub that caught it,it may have let go and the rabbit would live to breed and pass its genes on. Quote Link to post
