Its f****n disgusting we didnt get it.....them corrupt c**ts FIFA have no interest in football they just want to take football to every corner of the world....they totally defeat the object of what competetive sport is all about.....sport should be about the best being rewarded.....of the 4 bids England without doubt had the best in every single way......yet they give it to a country that has more racism,more hooliganism,less enthusiasm.......and as for the 2022 being in f****n Qutar ..........a country with no history in football,no real interest in football.....and no grounds to play football !!!.....all FIFA want to be able to do is say that football is worldwide.....what ever happened to best for the job or the best win......todays society is all about rewarding the worst and penalising the best,its a joke.

If the English FA had any backbone they would get out of the FIFA organisation or worst ways go all out in exposing their corruption and not with a soppy tv program but with court cases

From my perspective, I just thought it would have been nice to have football's biggest tournament in any part of the UK.. People from the rest of the UK are missing the big picture being bitter about it. No matter what part of the UK you lived in, you'd have been able to see some of the worlds biggest teams on the biggest stage without the hassle of leaving the country. A once in a lifetime chance for most of the UK population. I for one wouldn't have cut my nose of to spite my face should England have gotten lucky..

your right mate,i dont understand football fans tbh,the only sport i follow and enjoy is boxing and although i admit i'd prefer to see an English (or failing that i'd settle for british) fighter win,a good fights a good fight.

 

 

whereas most football fans dont even seem to enjoy or care about the sport itself,just that their side wins.

if you enjoy watching football your home team playing should only be a bonus shouldnt it?

All the piss take aside it's sad all of us on here will probably never get to see this tournament played on British soil. I think the English bid was in no way a failure before announcing Russia they said Englands presentation was very impressive, William, Cameron and Becks did a great job at least they turned up not like Putin....

 

Qatar has now set a precedence it doesn't matter if you even have a football league you can hold the world cup now
