santoro 1
Iv recently been doing some research,Im by no means an expert thats why I write this topic for further input but let me have a crack at getting my ideas across . . You are banned from hunting with your dogs to a certain extent in this country under the hunting act of 2004/05 . . .right? but did you know that an act is not a law? The definition of an act of any kind according to the Blacks law dictionary (the official dictionary of law) is something along the lines of . . An act is a legislative rule of society given the force of law by the concent of the governed. The only law that has jurisdiction in England is common law and the definition of that is,Harm,Injury or loss,ie,if what you are doing is causing non of the former to another human being then it is NOT A CRIME.You can only be governed (policed)by an act if you consent to it.Now this is the tricky part, the Police only need you to give your name or even nod your head in agreement to claim consent. So if a copper pulls you for hunting say NOTHING,this info should put you in a better position if you had dogs confiscated etc cnt garantee itl work but look the info up yourself www.TPUC.org theres got to be an answer in there somewhere to get round this stupid ban. j4mesmac 5
i think in scotland, you need to give police your name adress and date of birth by law.then after that all you need to say is NO COMMENT.

They are allowed to arrest you in order to establish your identity.

Gaz_1989 9,539
The law is a bag of wank. Alot of people try to get round laws with legal jargon and "no comment". At the end of the day if you have broken the law or breached an Act and been caught then there aint much you can do. Failing to comply with them is something they will arrest you for anyway. If you break the law... Don't get caught! Gaz
Cold Ethyl 63
would love to find a loop whole in the law! If you can prove it was an "accident" and you tried to stop or call your dogs off for egsample a fox you can get away with it.Happened to me a few years back and i had actually tried to call them off cos all my neighbours were watching and the fox appeared from nowhere and of course the hounds where on it there and then. They have to be totally happpy you did your best to stop it.They have to prove intent in order to charge you or theyre supposed to anyway and that came from the wildlife office at the local cop shop.Who for the record thinks they have more than enough on their plates without chasing people for hunting as well lol.I dont agree with the horsey set and hundreds of dogs chasing one fox cos you cannot control all they dogs at one time and there were people peed cos theyre dogs or cats where in the path of it and got injured or killed can understand that plus i dont see it as sporting just my opinion.
