1st time

took the dog out for a few runs to night neva ran him befor on frozed groung but was itching to get ot and decided to go with my 5 year old son we set of and soon landed at our first field soon as i put the lamp on the he was big ears about 40 ft away so we walked on to it got about 25 ft from it up it went but watching the run was sum what dissapointe din the proformance ov the big ears didnt run like it would normally dose the snow make them slow or doselie or some thing only turned twice and the dog hovered it up to the delight of my son he was over the moon smiling from ear to ear bless him

for me its putting your dog 2 the test ,and the ulitimate test of your dog ,if something gets away yes i,m dissipointed ,but if you,ve seen your dog give it all ,and the dog will learn from it last run,thats why its called a working dog ,because it has 2 work for its prey,that what i get out of having dogs is seeing them work ,a dog is only as good as it last night out :thumbs:

if it made the young lad happy then it was worth it.but i would not be out running them till the snow has gone

i neva went out for big ears in mind but when you take your son out for his first time and hes expecting to see the dog cath a rabbit then im not going to disapoint him im trying to get him intrested in a hobby and if he like goin out with the dogs or hunting then im happy he gets exercise and some farther nd son bonding at the same time cant beat goin out [bANNED TEXT] ya son seeing him urging the dog on to catch and the satisfaction when the dog dose catch is priceless
