stroller 341
dont see the point in running yah dog in the deep snow as the quarry carnt even run properly so there for it isnt even sport im waiting for the snow to melt which could be a long time but im not gunna go round killing all the local quarry when they dont run decent so therfore i will keep to me ferreting in the snow for now. there will be nowt left if people hammer everything in the snow because its that easy ! this is not stroller its his son Quote Link to post
Blue one 89
A word of warning running dogs on snow covered ground, ensure you know the ground like the back of your hand, snow can hide a multitude of dangers, hidden feeders, dips and gutters, and all sorts of debris, take care you dont injure/kill your lurcher. Well said. Not to mention the ground below it is like concrete!! Not worth the risk, for a few poxy rabbits ect, next week when it goes soft and mild and windy, if your dog gets injured, you will be kicking yourself and wont be able to go out when your meant to go out!
