DiStuRBeD 0
Gday guys, just after some info on slow starters you have had... did you find they wouldnt work one animal but would another? did they show any sign or were they completely oblivious to the game i have a dog at the moment(dont know the line) that will happily chase rabbits, but wont go near foxes(not exepcting her to chase just have a look at the dead ones) or anything larger, most dogs here in australia are chasing larger quarry at 7-9 months, thats the way it has always been here Quote Link to post
Kane 2
All reasonable dogs I have had would enthusiasticaly rag a dead fox at a very early age 3-4months old. They would be entered with another dog at about 10 months though some would enter even earlier if not restrained and would hopefully take a fox at 14 months ,again some would enter even earlier if not held back, single handed. Some might say that is to early I think it all depends on the breeding of your dog. Some times it is worth being a little bit more patient sometimes it isnt.
