Just found this pic of my old 'Wheeler' bred dog, he had a lump of a head on him.

Bryanm, I. Remember hearing of Wheeler dog's about 15 years ago or so, and I've seen not too long ago dog's the same as that fellow, is that where the been popping out in places, through that breed?

they've always been around Pablo, "Marmite" dogs, not to everyone's taste.

And is the dog an earth dog? Would like to see the dog now.

He's coming up for 2 years old, and no I use him for bushing so can't have him going to ground on a mooch. He gets too see plenty of work above ground for us.

Some people hang on to pedigrees more than the ability of the dogs. surely you should be breeding from working attributes rather than the name behind the breeding. We all have sucsesfull dogs and failures, even in the best tried lines and should breed accordingly.

Sorefoot pedigrees are very important when you are keeping your line tight. You can bred worker to worker and get nothing but at least when you have a tight bred line you are upping your chances of workers. Well that's the plan anyway. So to me pedigree are just as important as there working ability.
