just thought i would say hello, been on this site a long time but usually go on the lurcher forum, i bought my gos off peter gill and richard hill, i got him at 12 days old he is a social imprint, he is well and truely wed to pheasants cock pheasants are his favourite, he was killing at 2lbs but since the clocks went back i am struggling to do everything, work dogs birds, he,s up in weight now, but ille get back on the case very soon.

ive had other birds mate, i had a gyr x peregrine game hawk, for partridge a sparrowhawk, ive got other birds now too; i have a peregrine tiercel, game hawk and two male harris,s which i hunt witht, this is the first gos i have had though, i havent had a single problem with him though, so ime real pleased with him, ive actually killed 63 pheasants with him 3 partridge 2 woodpigeons 1 rabbit 1 rat, all off the fist,

that's some going that mate getting my first bird a Harris next year cant wait be out with a friends Harris the last couple of days :thumbs: ...john

hopefully yes i have a bird sorted for next year just sorting all my equipment the more i read up on telemetry systems the more i cant decide and the birds housing after Christmas when i get my new kennels up not one to wish my life away but it cant come sooner enough..:thumbs: ...john

one thing mate it will all come around very quickly once new year is out of the way, i remember this time last year i had my gos booked and my deposit had been paid, looking back now so much has happened its amazing, he is a bit high at the moment but he is still fit, i will reduce his weight slowly soon and get some good pictures up, of him hunting

ive got my harrises weights up to never had time to fly them for over a year and when ive booked my holidays from work its either gales or peeing down like anything.hoping to breed this yr tried last yr but she throw the eggs out because of the noise of the kids.atb mate
