Jordb543 9
anyone else got any pics of these types of lurchers? im currently doing abit of mooching with a plummer/lakeland, just started doing it its going well, gets enough to keep the snakes fed, but i would like a little whirrier to help him out to pick up a few bolters, but would still want it to be able to tear into bushes etc as the terrier does and come out unharmed as he does, also would maybe take it ferreting if i choose to start that not looking to get it anytime soon a few years probably but if my snake collection keeps growing could end up being sooner Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
Tyla - what's that dog like as a worker? Does it bush and work cover? He's a great worker, works cover well, but not too great at bushing though thick cover due to his size and we have a terrier to do that job and he they work really well together. Ferreting is his forte. Quote Link to post

samstorm 34
My beddy/whippet halfx will do the work of bigger lurchers, hes 22tts, and does what hes asked to, never rreally had him out in a bush, I use him for tha lamp, and to be honest hes a great little pot filler, good bit of stamina fast as hell, jumps out, never looks back, love this wee dog will have him till he dies, hes the perfect dog for me, size is perfect speeds imense, thes dogs are very under estimated on here it gets muy back up when people say there shit, my dog proves em wrong but im not here to beg for a match, dont need to prove my dog, just would love for the sceptics and non believers see him doinghis job, well worth the money to any one who gets one, especially if there his kinda size, Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
I like that staffy mate. I also like the look of the 1/4 beddy whips. Ive also considered full beddy or lakey for bushing. Would they still manage to go to ground given the chance though? Quote Link to post
