i,ve got ,sire deerhound/saluki grey x dam 1/4 deerhound/1/4 bull grey ,not a first x but mostly deerhound ,but my dog just looks like the sire

na havent got one yet mate but me mate said i could have his pup bout 9 month old so just wanted to no what people opinions are on them as ive enevr worked 1 but if i get it ill put pics up straight away

I have been looking at collie/grey/deer or bull/grey/deer for the future with a dash of saluki.

 

I'm liking saluki/deer stuff.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing some pics.

i have always ran dogs with deer/grey x sal/grey with a touch ov collie in them, i personally think they are excelant allrounder dogs for day or neet, my hunting buddy runs a deer/grey x sal/grey and he knows his job very very well and very rearly lets him down,

 

this is my 2 deer/grey x sal/grey collie

been runnin this cross for about 8/9 year mate, i used to run collie crosses befor that but IMO the deerhound puts a bit more prey drive in the mix.

I aren't a big fan of collie crosses personally but I think a dash of collie would be an asset to any lurcher really.

 

There seems to be alot of good deerhound crosses about at the moment and alot of interest in there crosses.
