dont let them in,just tell them to leave your property and you have nothing to say to them.they were all over me this year till i told them to leave and not come back.they will threaten to return with a copper but in my experience they dont,the police have no time for it,they will try and impress you with their 'animal welfare act' but with no evidence ie seeing the dogs etc they have no crime to report and 'hear-say' evidence wont get a court order or a copper out.

THIS ARTICLE is written in my joint capacities as Legal Adviser to a number of dog organisations, and Chairman of the Legal Aid Working Party of the British Academy of Experts.

I had been approached by a number of dog people, and by fellow professional members of the Academy, and asked to clear up a number of misconceptions about the RSPCA and the law that appear to be widely held and indeed publicly fostered by the Society itself.

 

* The RSPCA is a charity.

 

* The Inspectorate is NOT a public law enforcement body.

 

* Society Inspectors have NOspecial legal powers whatsoever.

 

* They have NO special powers to arrest offenders.

 

* They have NO right to enter your home to inspect your animals or to demand that you answer any of their questions.

 

* They have NO right of access to shows, fairs and markets other than as members of the public, and can only carry out any law enforcement function as an assistant to a police-officer, upon that officer’s request.

 

* They have NO power to stop, obstruct or otherwise detain any vehicle carrying animals.

 

* Whilst the Society’s staff issue criminal proceedings against offenders, they do so by way of private prosecution.

 

* Members of the Inspectorate wear uniforms which make them as much like police officers as the law will allow. They are not. The LOWEST "rank" in the Inspectorate is Inspector (apart from Trainee Inspectors). Above that they have "Chief Inspectors", "Superintendent", ’ and "Chief Superintendents". None of these ranks are officers of the Crown, and have no legal significance whatsoever. They are designed to impress the public.

they have come to my house took all took the micky lied to me now taking me to court and trying to put things on me i havenot and will never do ,even my wife who is a church goer not me her and summons her for living in house with me and being married to me ,and being guilty as me ,she dont even own a dog or anything she never here.

i run a childrens sports club help out troubled kids ect own buisness and they are going to ruin me aint done anyhting.

they imagine due to the fact i got a 4 dogs and two had a row over food i was not even in house i was up club.no one in someone heard it told them but they were ok just 4 or 5 surface wound seen worse in pub.dogs gone they say my dogs are dangrous and letting one dog suffer due to couple marks that cleared up in one week,i have 150 vet receipts i go all time .

they are all over me .

any advise.

never been reported for trouble never bit anyone never got hold of another dog outside house.but they are giving me hell.

thanks for comments taking the mick helps people all time,delete post and i will sort ,help asked some fair dog men some jokes all im saying is i have staffords and 4 of them i weight pulled them for years ,i have books on staffords on terriers on jacks,on english,on pits,my dogs had kc papers.

they came round after in house fight over food,went away then came back with backup,

they are doing me for owning dangrous dogs even though got papers ,owning a weight pull set up saying im trainning them,and not taking dogs to vet over 4 small marks,

why am i trainning them why do i have fit dogs why are they strong looking im a sportsman so my dogs run with me and are very fit,

 

that is what its about,iv got summons for owning,trainning,even though took dogs to vet loads times missed once due to thought not bad at all and doing for negloect

all im saying is dogs never bit no one never hurt another dog outside house but they all over me and advise on previous situations

if not want to help delete post,iv come on here for advise.

the way you have just described your dogs and setup 150 vets reciepts ect, i'm not surprised the rspca has came calling, i don't believe you take them to the vet 150+ times just because they fight over thier food, why not seperate them at meal time? as was said before, either change your vet or have a word with him as it's quite clear he is telling story's.
