First time ferreting

Yesterday was finally the day when I lost my ferreting cherry .

 

My Brother (JoeD on here) and me went to a couple of his permissions yesterday, nothing from the first one but the ferret did get two kills underground but it kept us warm digging him out.

 

Went on to another one of his permission and netted up a warren with about 20ish holes for it to turn out that no one was home.

 

Then across the field we saw soem bunnys followed them and they led us straight to there warren.

 

Set up got Bandit down there and 10mins later rabbit one popped up, another 15min later rabbit two bolted and got through the purse net and was off but right behind him was another rabbit (this years young) and I was straight on him.

 

So all in all a great day out really enjoyed it and looking forward to doing it again.

 

If there are any people around the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire or South Yorkshire area that does not mind me tagging a long let me know.

Was a cold but good day out, I look like I have no neck aswell with all my layers on lol

Thanks Kay really enjoyed it and really lookign forward to doing it again.

 

If there is anyone around the Nottinghamshire area that does not mind taking me out to one of there permission I have my own transport, as I want to learn as much as I can on this great sport which I have fallen in love with.

Good going that man nothing beats it especially when the weathers like this, people say to me isn't the weather awful to which I reply no it's great
