Both for me also...but i do tend to find that dogs enter to the retrieval of foxes slightly earlier than bitches...this is my assumption although some will say completley different...atb stabba

Had both dogs and bitches over the years and it doesnt really matter but as a preferance i like a strong lurcher dog

both for me too. In my experience bitches are a little more sensible than dogs. Dogs can get territorial and fight a bit at times, but then I've also found that a spaded bitch can get a little aggresive too.

I've had spaded bitches who were fine with all dogs before they were spade and then, like 5 months after being spade, became right nasty little buggers with other dogs and bitches.

dogs, can work all season, just as loyal if you put the time in with them.And they suite my temp better, apart from wanting to piss all the while
