NEW GUN PELLET ADVICE

i have bought a new hw97k today, and the first thing id like to say is its 'DEADLY ACCURATE'. i am using rws flatheads and i am looking for advice for pellets for hunting small game rabbits etc. so i need knock down power aswell as accuracy.

Hi Powel.

 

Most of the guy's will answer this in the same way......Shot placment over power every time buddy.

 

Try AA fields mate, they go well over greater distance.

flat head mate, aparently you can get head shots at 30 meters, but the small ones are a peace of cake. so ive heard, lol by the way... u heard of the word.. about the bird? ... bird , bird, the bird is the word .... lol

Hi

 

Flat head pellets are only accurate up to 20 yards, good for ratting. I only use domed pellets in my 97, AA's are accurate out to 60 yards in my rifle. Pellet in the brain drops them dead.

The Falcon Accuracy Plus are also great pellets. RWS Superdomes are a very good pellet too, there are many pellet fussy barrels that do well with Superdomes.
